The Synopsis

A Perfect 10 follows Genie, a hard working Waitress from the heart of England who is suddenly thrust back into her previous life as a Special Forces Operative when the Prime Minister is kidnapped. Along with her best friend Al, and a whole host of other characters that will have you glued to the screen, she has to make a difficult choice; will she save the PM or help herself?

As mentioned previously, A Perfect 10 began its Principle Photography on February 4th 2019 on the outskirts of Coventry filming some of the smaller and simpler scenes of the piece.

The shooting schedule was broken down into 3 Blocks of filming to ensure that the cast and crew had enough time to rest and refresh in between shooting; the Blocks were broken down as follows:

- Block A: Car Park, Exterior Pub, Introduction Sequence, Pub Interior. 04 Feb - 06 Feb

- Block B: Flashback Sequence, Interior Flat. 12 Feb - 14 Feb

- Block C: Warehouse Sequences. 18 Feb - 20 Feb

With Unit A Production [Principle Photography] finished, the project now moves into the Post-Production and Unit B filming time; Unit B will concur a skeleton crew required for small exterior and less important shots for the film.

Photographs from during Production will shortly be made available.

Post-Production and Editing

Post Production began on March 1st 2019 with Matt and James reviewing footage from the 9 days of filming and beginning to cypher through to find the best pieces to use.

Within a week the very first rough cut had been placed together and sent to the various departments in the Post Production team, including Composers, Sound Mixers, Foley Artists and Colourists to all begin their lengthy process to get things done.

The Composer for 'A Perfect 10' was Andy Wright, a London based composer who wrote and created all of the music for the film from scratch; with regular communication and direction from the Executive Team, he managed to achieve the best soundscape for the emotional journey that the film takes you on.

With over 60 hours on the edit suite clock, the Final Edit was completed on March 27th 2019, with the piece then being viewed by various focus groups, lecturers, senior crew members and industry professionals to ensure a clean cut.

A Perfect 10 was published LIVE on April 14th 2019 at 18:00 on the A Perfect 10 YouTube channel, you can click here to watch it.

The Future of 'A Perfect 10'

James and Matt will now be looking to present 'A Perfect 10' at film festivals up and down the country, as well as internationally and intend to market it to as wide an audience as possible; obviously with the help of friends, family, colleagues and social media itself!

The future of the film, at least for now, is to remain online for all to view and be the flagship piece for both parties going into the Film and TV Industry.
