James Hedley is a Freelance Media Producer that specialises in Camera Operation, Cinematography and Photography.

 

Beginning his career online on YouTube in 2012, James quickly gained popularity and built up an online presence spanning thousands of viewers across his Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

 

In early 2014 James began Freelancing as a Photographer and specialised in event photography working for clients such as Porsche UK, Cambs Times Newspaper, Frank Flegg, Obstacle Race Magazine, Spartan Race UK and various other private clients. It was during this time he self-taught his camera and editing skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

 

Since 2016 James has been studying Media Production at Coventry University. During his time here he has produced a variety of work from a variety of genres and it is here that he has mastered shooting with various pieces of Grip and Cameras including 4K UHD and TV Production.

 

James has just finished working on his Final Year Short Film for his BA Media Production Degree; an action-thriller entitled 'A Perfect 10'. James worked alongside his creative partner, Matthew Bain, to create this piece. You can find more about this film by clicking here.

 

Looking forward to the future, James is beginning to strengthen his place with his industry links and looks to pursue a career in Camera Operation or as a Director of Photography in TV or Film.
